My husband bought the ultrasound unit on the recommendation of his best friend. He had been using it on a torn muscle on his side with great relief from pain. I have neck problems and carpal tunnel I have used the ultrasound on both areas and even got rid of trigger finger in my right pinky finger using this device. My only complaint is that there isn't a battery operated unit so that I can take it with me without having to use a plug in cord. The ultrasound gel Sonic Relief sells has Menthol, Eucalyptus, Peppermint and lavender in it, far better than just the plain gel with no scent also helps to relax sore muscles.
I am glad that Amazon carries the gel so that I can reorder it easily.

My orthopedic doctor recommended trying ultrasound therapy at a physical therapy place, but, my deductible & copays are so high, I thought I'd try it on my own first. I read all the reviews & decided on this one... I am soooooo glad I did! The shipping was fast & packaged very well. As soon as I received it, I tried it out because the pain in my hip/thigh from Bursitis was so painful that Ibuprofen wasn't helping much. After only the first 10-minute treatment the pain was 95% less!!! It's only been a few days, but, since my pain has been decreased so much I have slept better (although I still can't sleep on the side with the bursitis) & sitting at my desk at work all day is bearable. Whew! What a relief! I recommend this HIGHLY.
