The mattress pad for this product is made from polyurethane, which is not eco-friendly at all. If the eco-friendly tag is important to you (and that was the only reason I was willing to pay $250 for a padded tray), then this might be useful for you to know. I suppose you could buy it and then buy something an eco-friendly diaper pad, but for the price, I think that's a lot of extra. I returned this (great return service!) and ended up with a naturepedic pad, alone, without the wood. . .

This piece is a great complement to the Ouef crib. I didn't have it when I used the crib for my first child and have regrets about that. My son's room is small, and this works perfectly and looks great. Well worth the money as it is very sturdy and could no doubt be used and reused for many years.

We live in the city and tight on space so this was a perfect solution. Very well made like our Oeuf Classic Crib so was pleased with the quality and safety. And we won't be stuck with a big piece of baby furniture in a few years! Only gave it 4 stars as it is only a changing station with no features but there is nothing to complain about!
