Very stylish with a modern look. Definitely takes 2 people to assemble. Not difficult to assemble. Took about 1.5 hours. Be careful when putting poles through glass holes. The shelf can chip but chip is hidden.

First things first -- the first shipment of this product came completely shattered. The bulk of this entertainment center are three huge pieces of tempered glass, and they were all in a million pieces when I opened up the first box. After bleeding everywhere trying to put it all back into the box and taped up for the return (which Amazon handled very well I might add!), the second one arrived (and the first box carted off) and was in pristine condition (except for one small flaw, which I'll discuss later).

This is DEFINITELY a two person or more installation job -- DO NOT try to assemble this alone as you will more than likely end up breaking either the unit itself or something on your body as you try to wrestle these huge pieces of glass into place. The instructions have you assembling the unit upside down, so fear not if you think it looks a little funny as you put it together, it will be flipped! :)

The one flaw that I mentioned earlier had to do with one of the metal 'L' bracket things that they have you using to support each of the shelves. It was pretty obvious that this one was a defect (the metal bending machine that pops these out in their factory must have struck this one a little sideways) and it was not able to be screwed into both the shalf and the base of the unit for maximum sturdyness. I would think that if I really had a big problem with it that I could have contacted Bell-O and gotten a replacement one for free, but since I was still able to screw the piece into the base and line it up to at least support the shelf (but not screwed into it) I was happy enough, and you can't see it from looking at the unit so it was not a huge enough deal to me to bother with a replacement part (esepcially since the person who helped me assemble the unit is no longer in town and there's no way I'm going to try to take this thing apart myself to try to replace that part.....).

Once assembled and turned upright, the unit looked really nice (not that it didn't look nice from the bottom, but....well who cares what it looks like upside down anyways....). It's all-black coloration was really classy looking and after the olympian effort me and my friend had to go through to make sure it was assembled properly per the included instructions, it sure felt very sturdy. I put my 63" Samsung Plasma TV (PN63C550) on it and it looks really nice and sits up high enough on the stand to be easily visible in my living room.

Now, the stand could possibly be considered a little short for people with smaller televisions. I haven't taken a measuring stick to it, but, it isn't the tallest entertainment center out there by any means, and the smaller the TV you put on this thing the shorter it's going to seem. Luckily the 63" TV is large enough to look just fine on this unit, but I would probably start to consider either a different unit, or at least a really tall additional stand to put the TV on when sitting on the top shelf, if the TV you were going to put on it was smaller than say 50" because you will probably be looking a little down on the TV at that point assuming you're in a similar room as I am (using a couch to watch TV, etc...).

To conclude -- other than the initial delivery problem with the broken shelves, I am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone with a really large TV.

This product would have been easier to install if the holes on the shelf were aligned properly. The last shelf was misaligned and would not position in correctly. I had to go to Home Depot to buy a special tool to sand down the holes to make it fit properly. The installation time was over 3 hrs. I thought about sending the last shelf back but didn't want to deal with the hassle of shipping the defective product back and waiting for a new one. If you're not careful the holes chip easily. I only bought from Amazon because no other stores in my area offered the size I needed for my TV. Overall, the product is nice if you don't get a defective piece.
