if you are building a computer, then this ram cooler will probably not fit in your case. My CPU fan is larger then normal and will not allow for this thing to be mounted over the ram safely.

I'm not sure how much cooler it makes my DDR2 ram, but if nothing else, it looks cool inside my tower and it does help move more air around. The blue LED's are bright and the fans are quiet.

Installing the cooler can make you nervous. The hinges which attach the unit to the DIMM socket levers are kind of tight. IT does take a little bit of muscle to get the hinges over the DIMM levers the first time, but once its attached you wont have to worry about it rattling around or slipping off. And once you do it once, you'll realize that its really not as much pressure as you initially thought you were using. SO if you have to take it off and then re-install it, you wont be as worried about the pressure as you were the first time you installed it.

Some people complained of CPU cooler clearance. Some complained of video card clearance. After seeing the pictures submitted by others and comparing to my build - A basic Asus Socket AM3+/ AMD 970/ Quad CrossFireX/ SATA3&USB3.0/ A&GbE/ ATX Motherboard (M5A97) with a all-in-one liquid cooler, I figured I had LOTS of room to fit the XTC Cooler. What I was concerned with was the height - Would this cooler fit over the tall heat spreaders on my set of Corsair Vengeance DIMMs? I took the plunge as this was $6 cheaper than the Corsair and Kingston brand coolers.

It really wasn't very hard to mount it. Takes a little bit of muscle to anchor into place, and it seems pretty durable.

Now the reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it's very tall. As I mentioned I'm running this over Corsair Memory Vengeance 16 Quad Channel Kit DDR3 1600 MHz 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 and I swear that the gap between the XTC fans and the DIMMs is about an inch. Not to mention that because of the height, one of my liquid cooling tubes is nudged against the cooler. It doesn't hurt anything, just don't like it as I thought it would clear everything pretty easily. I may move it over one notch in between the DIMM locks.

As far as performance goes, it is pretty quiet. I hooked the three pin connector to my NZXT SENTRY 2 Accessories 5.25-Inch Touch Screen Fan Controller (Black) fan controller, and was able to compare the sound to the other fans, I don't notice any difference. Of course including my push-pull liquid cooler and video card fan, I now have 10 fans in this Nzxt Technologies USB 3.0 Tempest 410 Steel Mid Tower Airflow Case - T410-001 (Black).

Does the XTC cooler cool the Vengeance DIMMs? Probably - But I haven't hooked up the temp sensor to test it out yet. I'll update as soon as I come up with some numbers.

[UPDATE] I finally placed a temp sensor inbetween the 4 Corsair Vengeance DIMMs.
(Note: this is with my other non-cpu case fans spinning at 60%)
*FANS OFF -- 36c (half hour idle/light web browsing)
*FANS ON - SPEED 60% -- 27c (additional half hour idle)
*FANS ON - SPEED 100% -- 26c (additional half hour idle)
In my case, the XTC effectively drops the ram temp by 10 degrees.
Additionally the temp under load (gaming) rose to 28c with all my fans running 100%.

Other thoughts:
*Don't like that it has a white power cable and connector.
*Don't care about the blue LEDs. They are very bright, yes. I don't have a side window other than the bit for a row for tiny exhaust fans. I'm not one for flashy lighting anyway - I bought the XTC Cooler more for the fuction.
*I may down the line cut off a half inch or so. I want these to cool just the memory, not everything surrounding.
*A really good price at $14.99 - tho now they're $11.99! I should have waited a couple days. LOL

At more than three times the price of any coil hose I have bought before, I was very hesitant to try this one. But the last three coils I bought at Target did not even last a year, and the kinked up continually and had to be untangled over and over. When one of them sprung a leak I purchased this to replace it. I am happy with the choice. It uncoils easily to move about the garden with, it does not kink or tangle up. It feels more solid than the others. Overall, much less aggravation and much more just getting the watering done so I can enjoy the garden.

Not too hot, not too cold, but just right in the season for a successful planting of new bushes and ornamental grasses. But only if it is properly watered and maintained. I figured this would be easy to use and she says it makes taking care of the yard so much easier than her old "hundred pound" black rubber hose she was using. Mom doesn't rave much about things that do their job but I have gotten many thanks because of how well this product does in fact do its job. I would say this is a winner for what its worth.

I purchased the Tamrac 5547 after extensive research on backpack camera bags. The construction is great, with lots of room and compartments for your camera equipment. The padding in the camera compartment is stiff and robust without being unforgiving. I carry a Minolta Maxxum 7 with 2 lenses, extra batteries, several lens filters and rolls of film and other accessories, and there's plenty of room. I pack my external flash into the web pocket in the upper compartment, and use the front pocket for pens, notepads, and other items. With all of that in the pack, there's still plenty of room up top for a jacket or sweatshirt, plus snacks or lunch if you're taking a day trip. I would highly recommend this pack to anyone who likes to take their camera on day hikes, zoo trips, or any other day trip, and still have room for other items.

I bought this for my new Nikon D5100 when I went hiking in the Grand Canyon. The camera fits well enough and the size of the camera compartment allows me to bring three lens along with a few other odds and ends. It is water resistant which comes in handy while hiking and the pack is comfortable enough to take on longer trips. I particularly like the backpack-like nature of this pack. It hold snacks and water and has a nice solid base so it doesn't fall over if you leave it standing upright.

I love this backpack! I've used the bag several times so far and it works beautifully for me. The top compartment holds more than I thought it would (sweatshirt, rain jacket, keys, cellphone). The bottom holds all the equipment I need. I'm newly into this hobby and I'm able to carry a camera (Nikon D5100) with lens attached, an extra lens and various accessories with room to spare. Extra mesh pockets on the outside are tight but hold little extras securely. Bonus: went to a few concerts and the bottom with the camera was totally overlooked on the bag search. This backpack is perfect for my needs.

I ordered this lamp (with housing) for my DLP HDTV, and it works great. However, only 3 weeks later, the lamp indicator light came on and a message popped up saying that the lamp was nearing its end-of-life and a replacement should be ordered. For a while, I thought the lamp was faulty, but I eventually realized that I forgot to reset the lamp hours through the TV setup menu when I replaced the lamp... oops. :-)

Updated 1.6.12: Purchased this for my Mits WD-52825. The replacement is a do-it-yourself job. Lamp arrived nicely packaged and all looked good. Removed the housing cover from the TV, which is secured with 3 phillips-head screws. Then, to remove the original lamp, you must loosen three flathead screws that hold the lamp securely in position. These flathead screws are part of the original lamp assembly and even when loosened are still held to the lamp. Inserted the new lamp and noticed that this new lamp assembly does not have the flathead screws that secure the lamp. I did not like this but continued with the installation. After it failed to work I jimmied the housing cover so I could watch what happened. I could see the lamp come on briefly but then there would be a buzz and it would fail. I returned the lamp, which was priced at $73, and let me say that the return experience was excellent, and purchased a lamp directly from Mits. The Mits lamp was $229! Now, the Mits lamp has the flathead screws as part of the assembly and I believe these serve a good purpose. First, you will know whether or not you have the new lamp seated correctly by whether or not the screws can be secured. Second, I would be concerned that the extreme temps would lead to expansion and loosening of the lamp connection. In my view it is a serious flaw for the 3rd party lamp to be missing these screws as part of the assembly. But it is a great deal less expensive than buying direct from Mits.

More importantly, the Mits lamp didn't work either! If you are reading this you probably already know that this TV is one that was manufactured with the infamous V26 chassis. I consulted with the good folks at [...] and have ordered a replacement ballast for $149, another do-it-yourself replacement. If this doesn't resolve the problem I will see if I can get satisfaction from Mits for their poorly made chassis.

I received the bulb July 5th 2011, it went out July 28th 2011. when it arrived the bulb itself looked cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.Amazon filled the order through Nevada Parts Co.I tried to find a phone # or e-mail for them and nothing to be found. I guess shame on me for not looking into their info more. I did call Amazon and they gave me a full refund.
